Midnight Sun Poker Festival,
Reykjavik, Iceland, 12-17 May 2026
General info
This is the second edition of Midnight Sun Poker, where we are taking two of our regular championship events, Smábokki and Stórbokki along with Bræðingur, and a few side events and making it into a 5 day poker festival.
Stórbokki started out in 2015 as our “high roller” championship with a buy-in of 2x the Icelandic championship buy-in. Two years later PSÍ kicked of a low stakes counterpart to that tournament, Smábokki, with a buy-in suitable for all players and yet with a 2 day format, giving our members the opportunity to play a grand tournament for an accessible buy-in. Bræðingur started off in 2020, but was cancelled during the Covid years and was revived in 2025. It melts together online and live poker in a fun format. It starts online on Coolbet.com and is played down to 9 players and the final table is then played live at the start of the Midnight Sun Poker Festival along with a super satellite to Stórbokki where one ticket will be ADDED.
A PSÍ (Icelandic Poker Federation) membership is required for participation in all events organized by PSÍ and all events are open to all nationalities.
All results from all events will be posted on the Hendon Mob database.
The venue is a new poker club, Reykjavik Royale, that features up to 20 tables with regular tournaments and 100/200 games (ISK).
Note that Smábokki will only have the option of one re-entry but Stórbokki and all side events will have unlimited re-entries.
